Clinical Perspectives and Cultural Considerations

Clinicians are often faced with difficult questions from caregivers. These questions mixed with cultural differences can be unchartered water. Effectively navigating crucial conversations with caregivers takes an intimate look into defining our personal values and successfully building collaborative relationships. During this presentation, we will discuss personal mission statements, core ethical principles related to caregiver guidance, approaching difficult topics, and asking the necessary questions to caregivers based on current standards and literature.
