Here’s a stop on Alternative Baseball’s first ever BARNSTORMING FOR EMPOWERMENT tour!
On October 15th, 2022, the general public is invited to experience a full afternoon of local history in the making; an experience that will go down in History as one to forever champion empowerment and encouragement of the true capabilities of individuals with disabilities. For the first time ever in Cherokee County as part of the inaugural West Georgia Empowerment and Engagement Tour, a team of local Atlanta-area baseball players with disabilities will work together alongside community leaders and “celebrity” figures in a never-before-seen 7-inning exhibition at Tommy Mann Field in Woodstock. all to champion awareness, acceptance, and empowerment for the societal inclusion of people with disabilities!
