First words, haircuts, high fives, happy trips to the store, family vacations, full nights of sleep and broadening interests … these are just a few of the wins children and families at Hopebridge get to experience, oftentimes alongside their therapy teams. In honor of Hopebridge’s 15th anniversary in September, we made sure the crew had the chance to bask in their own successes, too.
With 15 years in service committed to the autism community, we know our longevity and success rests on the passion and tremendous work of our incredible team members. More than 50 therapy centers across the nation celebrated the milestone in style, all while honoring our Hopebridge Heroes during a week’s worth of festivities.
“Our team members are the heart and soul of the Hopebridge brand and culture,” said Leigh Crick, vice president of human resources for Hopebridge. “They dedicate their lives to serving others and have a profound impact on our children and families, so it was important for us to treat them like the real-life heroes they are each day.”
The Hopebridge holiday included catered lunches and brunches, such as “we appreciate you a waffle lot” bars and “let’s taco ‘bout how awesome you are” spreads from Chipotle. The team received other sweet treats and surprises like center visits from Kona Ice, wagon parades, handmade art from the kiddos, superhero swag and photo booths. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), BCBA Fellows, occupational therapists, speech therapists, center managers and more all joined in the entertainment.
As part of the celebration, the team welcomed nearly 1,000 new employees this quarter, including a record onboarding of 135 “superheroes” in one day. With backgrounds in everything from ABA therapy and psychology to occupational therapy and special education, the new roles further strengthen the existing team on their journey toward Hopebridge’s goal to bring new light to thousands of families.
Every day, our heroes put on their cape to make a difference in the lives of children with autism. Whether they’re a behavior analyst, speech pathologist, clinic manager, or work in another capacity out of the home office, our Hopebridge Heroes ensure that our kiddos have the ability to become their best selves.
