Bubbles, bounce houses and baseball … must be summer!
These past few months, our kiddos and Hopebridge Heroes had a blast celebrating Fun Fridays with all kinds of fresh, new experiences. From parties and treats to costumes and games, our centers across the country came up with seasonal activities to entertain their kids while focusing on skill-building at the same time.
Many centers hosted splash days filled with safe water play through kiddie pools, water tables, bubbles and more. Some turned the clinics into petting zoos with cute and cuddly creatures, giving kids the opportunity to participate in animal therapy.
“Swimming is my daughter’s favorite activity – she’d live in the water if I’d let her – so she loved Hopebridge’s Splash Day this summer,” said Leslie, mom to Hopebridge kiddo, Vicki. “I had to wait to put on her swimsuit because I knew she would get too excited to focus on anything else!”
Other themes included “Sundae Funday,” the Wild Wild West, camping, dinosaurs, the Olympics, baseball spirit, pajama party, video game characters, tacky tourists and Flash Forward Friday, which had everyone dressing up in silly costumes and participating in some pretty sweet activities.
Here’s a peek at some of the “adventures” our kids were able to take part in from the centers this summer:
