Do you think your child might show signs of autism, but are not sure what to do next? In honor of Autism Awareness Month, we partnered with WTWO News’ “Good Day Live” to walk through the steps leading up to a diagnosis.
As part of the autism education series, last week, the local community had the opportunity to witness the story of one special kiddo, Homer, and the life-changing therapy he receives. This week, Dr. Megan O’Bryan, a psychologist who heads up the Hopebridge Diagnostics Team, discussed how to reach the diagnosis that leads to therapy.
It all starts with talking with your child’s pediatrician. From there, we at Hopebridge make the process easy to get your family the answer you need, whether its autism spectrum disorder or another challenge ready to be tackled.
Listen to the “Good Day Live” conversation with Dr. O’Bryan through the link below to learn the process and what you need to get started on improving the quality of life for your kiddo and family.
Check back next week as we continue conclude the series and stories behind Hopebridge on “Good Day Live.” The TV segments airs Wednesday at 4 p.m. and can be found here on our blog next Friday.
Anxious to get started with a diagnostic evaluation in the meantime? Connect with us here to get a referral and set up an appointment (often up to six months sooner than other providers).
