Life looks a little (ok, a lot) different for many of us these days, but that does not mean we cannot continue to support our favorite causes and each other. To raise awareness and vital funds for the autism community, Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers team members and families will participate in Autism Speaks Walk in a new format.
From an Autism Speaks Walk on Wheels to virtual offerings, the event will not be any less fun than usual. Each location is putting its own creative twist on the traditional walk. Please view the calendar of events below to learn how you can participate in your local community.
August 29, 2020 | 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
The organized, interactive car parade offers a way to convene the community and celebrate together while keeping a safe distance. W-O-W participants are encouraged to decorate their cars and share the Autism Speaks signs in their yards to prepare for the event. Drivers will be assigned to start times before walk day. Visit the Cincinnati Autism Speaks Walk site to register or donate.

There are additional options for those who do not wish to participate in the car parade this year. The virtual option is available for all of these Autism Speaks events. Supporters are also encouraged to use their creativity to organize their own version of the walk that works best for their family. Ideas include a neighborhood car parade, community scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk art installation or online bingo.
We can’t wait to see how our Hopebridge families and team members choose to participate! For more information on Hopebridge Autism Therapy Centers’ involvement in the autism community, please contact us to learn about our centers and programs across the nation.
