Our Facilities: Effective Spaces for Growth and Development
Within our pediatric therapy center in Scottsdale, our therapy teams have more control over the environment than they would in a home or smaller autism clinics. Within our facilities, we can eliminate possible barriers to learning, create controlled environments for specific sessions, or plan for more unstructured sessions for opportunities to work on new skills. Even more important, our state-of-the-art center is equipped with safety in mind.
The center features a variety of natural environments to work on the same skills they will bring into the home. Our thoughtfully designed spaces include:
- Semi-private therapy rooms
- Group therapy room set up like a mock classroom for our Circle Time Curriculum and other school preparation activities
- Gross motor “gym” with swings, balls, scooters, basketball hoop and more
- Functional play area with trains, car ramps, play kitchen and more
- Craft space
- Bathroom to practice hygiene skills
- Kitchen to work on feeding challenges and other daily functional living skills
